NEPENEḴ \nə́pənəq\ noun:
to give advice, lecture, make a speech, pass on cultural teachings.
We recognize First Nations’ inherent Rights and title by ensuring all voices are heard, consent is honoured, and the UN Declaration is actively implemented. Through speaking, facilitation, advising, and research grounded by the laws of the land. NEPENEḴ walks alongside Nations, governments, and communities to turn rights into reality and protect the wellbeing of future generations.
Mission
The teachings of our Ancestors guide every gathering, Indigenous leadership shapes the future, and the lands, waters, and lifeways gifted to us are protected for the great-great-great grandchildren still to come. A world where intergenerational knowledge transfer is celebrated as the foundation of self-determination, and where Indigenous Peoples walk freely in the fullness of who they are.
