NEPENEḴ founder Katisha Paul has accepted the invitation to serve as Master of Ceremonies for First Nations Leading the Way 2026, alongside Aaron Pete. This national gathering brings together over 700 First Nations leaders and communities advancing governance, fiscal independence, and economic development, and connects Nations with the supports available to them.
This year's theme, Building for the Future: A Generation of Collaborative Growth, reflects the power of working together with one heart and one mind. The gathering takes place on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, and səlilwətaɬ Nations. Hosted by the First Nations Finance Authority, Financial Management Board, Tax Commission, Infrastructure Institute, and Lands Advisory Board.
