NEPENEḴ will join the Integrated Partnership for Regional Emergency Management (IPREM) as a panelist and World Café conversation host at the Regional Forum on Risk Assessment. Drawing on her expertise in community resilience and the integration of First Nations Knowledge and Sciences into risk assessment, Katisha will help explore leading approaches to disaster planning and shape future guidance materials for communities across the Metro Vancouver region.

The Forum brings together emergency management partners from all orders of government to strengthen coordinated, cross-jurisdictional planning grounded in collaboration, innovation, and respect.
